Get out of prejudices, how?
When I decided to take a gap year, friends asked me so many questions. They suspected about my plan, my dream. A variety of successive days I received a lot of calls from family, some messages from friends. They asked me if I was sure about the upcoming plan. I was so tired of replying all the same questions at the same time. Life is fucking messy that I feel like being stuck.
Prejudice can kill one's dream. It can damage one's ambition and scare him or her. They will soon feel shaky and worried about the decision they made for themselves. Prejudice is a hateful enemy that can bury great minds and make them dead unreasonably. Prejudice appears everytime and everywhere, even in your family. The crowd sometimes make us get hurt by accident.
One year off school, what should I do in turn?
I need to imagine clearly and thoughtfully who I will become, where I live, whether or not I will come back to school...
You need to set your own goal and at any cost make an effort to make it come true. So below is my mission, vision goal and strategies.
+ Mission: To become an inspiring writer and an overseas student in psychology.
+Vision: - 4 months later: get 8.0 in IELTS test.
- 8 months later: get 2100 grades in SAT competition
- Publishing a book within 8 months.
- Proficiency about 60% in psychological knowledge (discover everything in psychology.com, some books related and through mentors)
- Founder a club in Vung Tau
+ Goal: - Become a student in a school in America.
- Proficiency in English
- Get scholarship for overseas program.
- Go to 5 countries in ASEAN
Strategies: Self study first and then get some help from others.
