My dream of studying abroad
After reading the book "The rainbow troops" by Andrea Hirata, my past dream of studying overseas revived intensely. Born poor, growing up in poverty, the author never gave up pursuing his dream of becoming a better person in the future. At the age of 22, working hard as a poor postman at a shabby post office, he didn't want to end up his life in pauperization. He was young, in strong health condition. Those lessons from his homie Lintang in the past reflected clearly in his mind, he told with himself not to surrender the fate. So then this brave man decided to go on learing to look for a scholarship. Finally, success and luck happened to the ones with strong and relentless effort. He had as chance to study abroad and then come back to his homeland with a promising future.
Everyone harbours his/her own dream. Some people are ambitious, others feel ok with their present life so they don't want to look for any chances to differentiate their lifestyle. I feel happy with what I have but don't always satisfy with what I am doing and what I achieved. Occasionally I feel a little bit bored with my schooling, I am tired of taking exams, going to school day by day and coming back home with exhaust that can be felt clearly through each breath. I wonder myself why I can continue to live this life so I choose to go out, travel and find help from my brother and sister who can host me some months to a year in Vung Tau. There, I can have inspiration as well as peace to chase for my great dream in the future.
Some people tell me that I have a strong character. I understand myself, I listent to my tuition, my heart and then make a sure decision. Rumour has it that you need to roll their tounge 9 times before talking, so you need to think twice before doing something. Sometimes I also seem to be an impulsive girl, I make a quick decision and then follow up despite knowing that it may be infeasible or not easily feasible. Positivity with careful plans will help me out although I am in bad situation at that time. So I never feel scared of what I have done. Youth can make mistakes and then correct them. It is the best way to learn new things.
People never know who you want to be in the future if they don't experience enough.
